Warehouse/Store Person

Full time

$30 – $35 per hour (40 hrs per week Mon-Fri)

About the role:

With the Filters Plus business expanding we are currently looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse/Store Person to join our team. The successful applicant will be able to work in a team and be self-motivated. The ability to work in a professional manner and fit in with our core values of integrity, respect and accountability is a must. The successful applicant will have a willingness to learn, a “can do” attitude and be flexible with the changing needs of the company.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Picking and packing of customer orders.
  • Organising freight to be collected.
  • Unloading and putting away stock, using a forklift and elevated work platform.
  • Bin management/stock locating using our computer system.
  • Invoicing using our computer system.
  • Processing of EFTPOS payments.
  • Managing credit returns.
  • General warehouse housekeeping eg: stock facing and tidying up.

 

Essential skills and experience:

  • Permanent work rights within Australia with no restrictions.
  • Current and valid C class WA driver’s licence.
  • Current forklift licence.
  • Minimum 1 year proven experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience using computerised stock management and information systems.
  • Ability to use a computer and office software in a business environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry.
  • Ability to communicate with a range of customers in person and via phone and email.
